Strength
Barbell and dumbbell work built from where you are today: hinge, squat, press, pull, carry. Load goes up when your technique earns it, not because the calendar says so.
Personal training · Eastlake, Seattle
One-to-one training in a private studio on Eastlake Ave. Every session is planned before you walk in, and somebody is watching every rep.
Nobody here is selling you a six-week transformation. The work is slower than that, and it lasts a great deal longer.
Where you are now, what your week actually looks like, and anything that hurts. That is the whole conversation.
The lifts, the sets, the thing you are working on this month. Written down before you walk in, so you always know why you are doing it.
Form first, load second. One coach, one client, no queue for the rack and nobody waiting on your bench.
Whatever brings you in (a bad back, a first deadlift, a mountain in August), it gets built out of the same four pieces.
Barbell and dumbbell work built from where you are today: hinge, squat, press, pull, carry. Load goes up when your technique earns it, not because the calendar says so.
The deadlift, the press, the row — coached rep by rep, with a dowel down your spine if that is what it takes to find the position. Nothing gets loaded until it moves right empty.
Mat work, hangs, and the ranges you want to still own at seventy, not only at forty. The least glamorous work in the room, and the reason the rest of it keeps paying off.
Sled pushes, kettlebells and intervals sized to the week you actually have. Hard enough to matter, short enough that you come back on Thursday.
Sessions are one-to-one. Seven days a week, 8 AM to 7 PM.
Maple floor, mirrors, daylight, and the equipment that actually gets used. When your session starts, the rack is free.
Out of five. On Google, where anybody can say anything. That is the only sales pitch on this page.
